Grounds and Night Duty Officer: NRMA South West Rocks

What you will do
Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will provide the team with assistance in maintaining the grounds, facilities and security of the property into the evening.  You will be available to work evening shifts as rostered, within the hours of approximately 4pm - 10pm.

Duties to include:

• Provide general grounds and maintenance tasks where required.
• Attend to and check all amenities and public areas including BBQs
• Ensure pool and games areas are locked, clean and cleaning procedures completed
• Security rounds completed
• Assist with any late arrivals, guest services, or walk in's
• Monitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees

What you will bring:

You will have a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of a team, who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

• Previous experience operating equipment related to grounds.
• Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds - enforcing rules in an appropriate manner when required.
• Proven ability to multitask.
• An understanding of the operation of Pool maintenance and Pool safety would be highly regraded, but not essential
• A flexible approach to attend to ad hoc matters as needed (no day is ever the same!)
• Ability to manage on call responsibility as rostered.
