From Contact Centre to Omni Channel Specialist: Britt's Career Journey
Self-described as a “happy helper” and “Pilates princess”, Britt Pyne is someone who brings heart, hustle and humour to everything she does. For the past few years, she’s been supporting some of Roadside’s most senior leaders as a Personal Assistant. But now, she’s stepping into a new chapter – and a brand-new role for our business – as Omni Channel Specialist.
This role is all about improving the way our Members connect with us – whether that’s over the phone, through the app or on our website. Britt will focus on creating a more seamless, consistent experience across every channel, so no matter how our Members get in touch, the support feels the same.
One of her first big projects? Adding live chat to our popular ‘Track My Patrol’ feature. It lets Members see their Patrol Officer’s location in real-time, and with the new chat function, they’ll be able to message them directly if they have a quick question.
It’s a simple change with a big impact, and Britt is proud to be driving it. “I absolutely bleed blue. I’m most looking forward to seeing the live impact this role has on the Member experience,” says Britt. “It’s about being accessible to everyone, covering our whole Member base – and not leaving anyone behind.”
Britt’s passion for the Member experience comes from her time in the Contact Centre, where she was part of the first fully remote CSR training group during COVID. That frontline experience gave her unique insight into what Members need – and it’s helped shape her journey.
Her career path is a powerful example of what it means to grow your career with us – trying new things, learning on the job, and saying yes to opportunity when it comes knocking.
Her advice for others just starting out? “Don’t lose faith – and let others carry you when you need it.” A powerful reminder of our Playbook value “There when you need help”.
Congratulations Britt – we’re so excited to see how you bring this new role to life.
