Tax Analyst

We are looking for a Tax Analyst to support the Tax Manager in meeting tax compliance obligations on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you'll do

• Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations for the 30 June 2025 financial year end and income tax returns including detailed work papers;  
• Preparation of the monthly NRMA Group Business Activity Statement including detailed work papers;
• Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns including detailed work papers;
• Perform analysis of fixed assets from a tax perspective and ensure complete and accurate tax fixed asset registers; and
• Provide ad hoc support to the Tax Manager on an “as needs” basis.

What you'll bring

• Commerce degree or equivalent
• At least 4 years experience in a professional services firm and/or corporate tax function across FBT, income tax and tax accounting
• Proficient in tax effect accounting and strong excel skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) as well as an ability to work independently   
• Hands on approach to understanding and navigating systems to collate data for tax analysis Knowledge of business accounting principles
