Maintenance Attendant

Are you an experienced, Handyperson, with a passion to add value? In this part-time role, you'll be part of a hard-working small Team reporting to the Park Manager. Your problem-solving skills and existing maintenance skills will help you in this role. You'll have flexibility to work shifts across a 7-day rotating roster and on weekends and public holidays as required.

What you’ll do:
•     Incidental maintenance repairs in rooms, amenities and other facilities.
•     Incidental customer service assistance with in-room repairs.
•     Assist with building projects, major repairs, renovations, mechanical repairs - painting, basic plumbing or replacing hardware.
•     Basic Electrical repairs ( If electrician certified )
•     Maintenance of grounds and gardens

What you’ll bring:
•     A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests 
•     Good time management and an eye for detail  
•     An ability to follow direction related to daily tasks and expectations 
•     Demonstrable experience in property maintenance.
•     Electrical trades/certificates is highly regarded.
•     Plumbing trades/certificates is highly regarded.
•     Experience with power tools
•     The ability to work under pressure
•     Organized and self-motivated 
•     Knowledge and understanding of safe working procedures
•     The open approach to reach to the guests who doesn't follow the rules 
•     Have an ability to work unsupervised with a "hands on" work history in a fast environment 
•     Be hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic and possess a reasonable level of fitness
•     A minimum of tech is required as we use Teams (chat) to communicate in the park. 
•     Pool safety/treatment is a bonus but not essential for this position.
