Manly Fast Ferry and Fantasea Cruising are an integral part of Sydney’s transport and tourism system, but they are more than that. They are a part of Sydney’s identity adding to the vibrant tapestry of the finest harbour in the world.
Our marine entities operate under the NRMA Group, one of Australia’s most iconic and trusted brands, that is proudly member-owned.
We are currently looking for casual Customer Service Crew to join our Manly Fast Ferry team, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your ‘office’ will be working on one of the most iconic harbours in the world!
You must be able to work on a casual basis on a 7-day rotating roster. Hours between 0600-2200
What You’ll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers and members of the public
- Provide accurate and efficient fare and route information to our current and potential customers
- Collaborate with vessel crew to ensure the coordination of customer movements
- Ensure safety comes first - providing vessel crew with notice of incidents or situations that can impact overall passenger safety
- Maintain professionalism at all times and comply with company standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience working in a Face-to-face customer service/sales environment
- Focus on self-presentation, a strong conversationalist and takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen attentively, demonstrate patience with customers and problem solve effectively
- Demonstrates high level of professionalism, focus on safety and adherence to organisational policies and procedures
- Can work confidently on your own while also being a great team player
- General knowledge of Marine products and Sydney Harbour will be highly regarded
