Our on-site cafe offers a delicious menu of innovative food at reasonable prices. Open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch, and Wednesday to Sunday for dinner.  The cafe is fully licensed, offers an a la carte & takeaway menu and wine list that is sure to please all palates and cater for all budgets

What you will do:

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Casual Cook to join our kitchen team at Darlington Beach Resort. In this hands-on role, you’ll assist with basic food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hand duties, supporting our Head Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver quality meals to guests in our resort dining venue.

• Assist with basic food preparation and cooking tasks
• Support the Head Chef and kitchen team during busy service periods
• Liaise with kitchen staff, food service/bar staff and management regarding customers order and general service of kitchen operations
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
• Perform general kitchen hand duties as required

What you will bring

• Previous experience in a kitchen, café or restaurant (preferred, but not essential)
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Reliable, punctual and a team player
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow food safety and hygiene regulations
