What you’ll do:

We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Food & Beverage Attendant with strong bartending expertise to join our team at Hamer’s Bar & Bistro, with the flexibility to work across a variety of our outlets. You’ll be the face behind the bar, delivering exceptional service with a warm welcome while showcasing your skills in cocktail preparation, mixology, and bar operations.

You’ll bring a solid understanding of beverage products and demonstrate the confidence to enforce the Responsible Service of Alcohol, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. With a resilient and can-do attitude, you’ll tailor each interaction to the individual, creating memorable experiences through great drinks and genuine hospitality. On a daily basis you'll:

• Perform general bar, waiting, and food & beverage service duties.
• Accurately process orders and handle cashiering tasks.
• Opening and closing the venue, including end-of-day procedures.
• Confidently uphold and enforce the Responsible Service of Alcohol standards.

What you’ll bring:  

• Food and beverage service experience with a passion for great food showcasing local produce 
• Strong bar, cocktail and mixology experience
• Barista skills (ability to manage high number of orders in a short window)
• A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
• Genuine interest and knowledge of beverage products such as spirits, beer, and wine.
• A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
• Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
• Australian driver’s license
• Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
