Our unbeatable location has Narrabeen Lake on one side and North Narrabeen surf beach on the other, so the world is your oyster! NRMA Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park is a tranquil escape from city living, but only 45-minutes from the CBD.
This is a live onsite position. A 3-bedroom residence (unfurnished) is provided as part of your package.
What you will do:.
As the Assistant Park Manager, you will report to and assist the Park Manager to manage a seamless Park operation through the provision of consistent high standards in product, guest services and a wide range of interpretative activities. Although a mid-size Park, Sydney Lakeside, has a small but efficient team. You will be hands-on in all areas and be prepared to roll up your sleeves to assist in housekeeping, front office, grounds as well as back of house operational tasks as needed.
You will find your balance in a 5 day working week, with a share in taking any after on call hours on set days each week. You will:
- Display a hands-on approach to managing the park
- Acknowledge that all employees are valued and important members of the park team and maintaining leadership credibility in all areas of the park operation by exhibiting consistent high standards of personal ethics
- Prepare monthly reporting for the General Manager
- Ensure that all employees receive a thorough park and department induction and sufficient on the job training
- Liaise with the General Manager regarding significant maintenance issues, repairs and soft refurbishment projects.
- Monitor and maintain a high standard of safety for all guests, visitors and employees
What you will bring:
Our ideal candidate will have relevant, hotel/resort/park management experience where initiative, organisational and advance planning skills are essential. You will be able to demonstrate experience in staff management at all levels and the ability to understand and interpret awards and certified agreements
You will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest experience. You are a hands-on leader; you walk the talk and can communicate to and manage both employee and guests.
