Blue Dolphin Yamba Holiday Resort is an ideal destination for family holidays! You’ll find us perched on 300 metres of absolute waterfront on the lovely Clarence River. Our family-friendly facilities include a pool with waterslides, waterpark, safari-themed mini golf course, air cushion, climbing wall, pump track and games room. For adults, the highlight is our swim-up pool bar – where you can order cocktails without leaving the water. We offer a variety of accommodation from three-bedroom units, villas with spa baths, to ensuite cabins as well as spacious caravan and campsites. For those travelling with furry friends, we have pet-friendly accommodation too!

What you will do: 

Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking an experienced Hospitality professional to join our team as Restaurant & Bar Manager at Blue Dolphin Resort. We’re looking for someone who is committed to inspiring our guests and creating an unforgettable experience.   

You'll use your energy, experience and creativity to help build the identity of our restaurant and bars by leading and developing our Food & Beverage team. On a daily basis you will: 

• Oversee and manage the Blue Dolphin Restaurant & Bar, as well as poolside and swim up bars. 
• Ensure the Food and Beverage Department represents the core values of NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and guest experience. 
• Work professionally and collaboratively alongside the Head Chef and Resort Management. 

What you will bring: 

• Strong food and beverage leadership experience  
• A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests  
• A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team  
• Ability and passion to build the skills and knowledge of our team through great training, coaching and mentoring  
• Inventory management experience 
• Experience managing financial budgets 
• Knowledge of contemporary food and service trends and culinary styles   
• Broad knowledge of wine varieties and appropriate food and wine combinations   
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays 
• Knowledge and understanding of safe working procedures
