Are you ready to dip you toes in the water and take on your very first Holiday Park as Park Managers?

Owned by the NRMA Group, we have a large team across our holiday parks, resorts and support office who love what they do, all working together to make holiday magic. Because creating unforgettable holidays is not just our job – it’s in our nature.
Port Campbell Holiday Park is located close to surf beaches, along the famous Great Ocean Road and only 10 minutes' drive from The Twelve Apostles. Located only two and a half hours drive from Melbourne, the park offers powered and unpowered sites, cabins, studios and villa style accommodation. This is an easy to maintain property with artificial turf sites and minimal facilities (camp kitchen, games room and an amenities block). This property is an ideal size property, for a couple with complementary skills, to make a start in Park management. A 3-bedroom residence is available at subsidised rent.
What you will do:
Commencing in October 2024, while previous holiday park experience is regarded, it is not always essential. Successful management teams must have complementing skills to ensure they can effectively deal with the various challenges faced in a holiday park and resort environment. You will have:
- Passion for delivery a superior customer experience and to drive business performance
- Leadership, motivation and management of staff, including recruiting and hiring
- Experience in facility management and grounds maintenance (trade skills) highly regarded
- High level of computer literacy, working knowledge of reservation systems and understanding accounting and payroll systems.
- Ability to work within approved operational budgets
- Enthusiasm and high achievement drive
- Creative flair for guest experience, marketing and promotions
Management teams must either possess or be prepared to trade as a Proprietary Limited Company (PTY LTD) and have their own ABN. In addition, management teams will need to demonstrate financial capacity to purchase plant and equipment (if you do not already have this).
Management teams can expect to earn a base income, plus the opportunity to earn additional income through commercial ventures you may choose to operate onsite. In addition, teams are to be further rewarded for their part in growing the parks income and increasing the parks overall profitability. You will also be rewarded with further incentives for guest service excellence.
We offer competitive contract terms and ongoing support from our Operations staff who will induct you to our company and methodologies. We also provide continued support and guidance for our managers in such areas as marketing, finance, IT, caravan park legislation and workplace health and safety.

This varied role will see you, build and maintain successful relationships with employees, guests and key stakeholders. You will provide a versatile and hands on approach in leadership, support and in all areas of park operations.
