Pumphouse Point is an adults-only retreat nestled on Lake St Clair, just 2.5 hours from Hobart. This hidden gem features 21 rooms in two converted heritage buildings, offering an intimate escape in World Heritage wilderness. We are seeking an experienced full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our leadership team at Pumphouse Point for an immediate start.

What you’ll do: 

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead, coach and mentor our dedicated team to prepare our guests rooms to a level which will help us to create an exceptional experience during their stay with us. You’ll take pride in setting the standard, working hands-on alongside your team while also managing key administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and conducting stocktakes.

This is a physically active role, so you’ll bring energy, resilience and a positive, can-do attitude to keep pace with a busy and dynamic environment.

What you’ll bring:   

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead and support a team to achieve high standards
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
• Minimum two years’ experience in housekeeping within the tourism or hospitality industry
• A positive, team-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Due to the nature of remote living, a current driver’s licence and personal vehicle are essential for this role
