Strahan is a small town and working port that serves as the gateway to the UNESCO-listed Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Located approximately 4.5 hours from Hobart or Launceston, Strahan Village sits in the heart of town and is rich in character and stories of the region’s pioneering history. We're looking for enthusiastic Housekeeping Attendants to join our team. We also welcome applications from couples looking to work together and share the adventure.

You'll thrive in this role if you're a reliable team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you'll be available to stay with us for at least six months, helping us deliver exceptional guest experiences throughout the season.

What you’ll do:

As part of our Housekeeping team, you'll help create exceptional guest experiences by ensuring our accommodation and public areas are clean, welcoming and presented to a consistently high standard. This is a physically active role, best suited to someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to get stuck in. On a typical day, you'll:

• Clean and service accommodation and public areas to the highest standards
• Change linen, replenish guest amenities and maintain room presentation
• Identify and report maintenance issues or missing items
• Work collaboratively with the team while confidently managing your own daily tasks
• Help create a positive experience for guests through your friendly and professional approach

What you’ll bring:  

• A passion for delivering great customer service and creating positive guest experiences
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently
• A positive, reliable and team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
• A good level of fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
