Grounds and Maintenance: Cape Hillsborough Nature Park

Located just 45 minutes north of Mackay, it has everything our guests need for a comfortable stay, from a camp kitchen and amenities blocks to BBQs and an onsite shop.

Live and work local with us!  We currently have 1 opportunity available for a permanent position with the team, at a property where everyday is a holiday! Part time, or Full Time hours available and single accommodation can be arranged if required.

What you’ll do:

Our Grounds & Maintenance all rounder will assist with the following:

• Premium presentation and maintenance of our grounds.
• Incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities and other facilities.
• Servicing pool -  cleaning, dosing, water balance, repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with gardening projects, basic mechanical repairs and painting

What you’ll bring:  

• Have demonstrable experience in grounds and basic maintenance work. A trade qualification is not necessary - we are looking for a genuine all rounder.
• Previous experience with ride on & push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping and weed control would be ideal
• Knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
• Have an ability to work unsupervised with a "hands on" work history
• Be hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic and possess a reasonable level of fitness

Please note that this is a physically demanding role.
