Food & Beverage Attendant

Angourie Resort is located along the pristine shores of the seaside town of Yamba, Northern New South Wales. Surrounded by 600 hectares of picturesque rainforest and a stone’s throw from Yuraygir National Park, the Resort is a traveller’s delight. It showcases 66 rooms, a pool, day spa, restaurant and conference facilities, as well as being a popular location for weddings.

• This role will be best suited to locals as staff accommodation is not provided

What you’ll do:

You may work in a variety of our food and beverage outlets, providing exceptional service with a warm welcome. You’ll treat our guests and customers as individuals, offering tailored options and solutions with a resilient and can-do attitude. On a daily basis you will:

• Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages.
• Ensure accurate processing of dockets, including cashiering duties.
• Setup and reset restaurants and specific conference & function activities as required.

What you’ll bring:  

• Food and beverage service experience with a passion for great food showcasing local produce 
• Strong bar and cocktail making experience
• A vibrant attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a busy team
• Genuine interest and knowledge of beverage products such as spirits, beer, and wine.
• A reputation for providing excellent customer service, engaging in great conversations with our guests
• Barista skills
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
• Possess a Do Food Safely Certificate of completion
• Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
