SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Fleet Optimisation Manager to join our team on a permanent full time basis.
The role offers the flexibility to work from home and across our Sydney CBD and/or Olympic Park offices as agreed and required for the role. This role can also be based remotely at any of our offices.
The Fleet Optimisation Manager is responsible for the management of the SIXT Australia fleet to deliver and exceed set business targets. This role contributes to the optimum utilisation of the fleet and assists key stakeholders in identifying opportunities to vary fleet mix and numbers to meet business requirements. The Fleet Optimisation Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the fleet’s operational readiness, cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Making fleet recommendations to stakeholders based on apparent trends with regard to utilisation and pricing
- Monitoring and controlling floating fleet issues; repatriation of fleet back to site locations where necessary to maximise utilisation
- Assisting with the acquisition of fleet and disposal of fleet in line with the national fleet plan
- Driving rental days and utilization of vehicles through forward planning & repair monitoring
- Identifying and implementing growth strategies to drive business performance
- Conducting analysis and reports to ensure business targets are being met and outlined
- Tertiary level qualification in finance is desired, however not essential
- Ability to use trends and data to make informed business decisions
- Ability to deal with and manage outside providers to achieve organisational objectives
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible to support business outcomes
- Strong time management skills
