Duty Manager: Turtle Sands Mon Repos

In September 2024, NRMA Parks and Resorts officially opened Turtle Sands, a new nature resort on the shores of the globally significant Mon Repos turtle nesting beach near Bundaberg, Queensland. Our property is the only place on Australia’s mainland where you can stay metres from one of nature’s most incredible experiences: turtles nesting and hatching. 

What you will do:

Our Duty Manager will ensure the highest possible standard of presentation in property, safety and security, throughout the resort whilst on shift.  The focus will be to ensure guests are adhering to the 'Turtle Protection Promise', which is no lights, and minimal noise after 730pm when in Turtle season.  Other key duties will be to ensure, the camp kitchen area is locked, general security sweeps and ensuring the cleanliness of public areas.

This is a casual position, predominantly working to service the 'Turtle Season between October and May.  Your working hours will be from 2pm – 10pm, in season.  Please note this is not a live onsite position.
