Our bustling resort bistro serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to our guests, offering a contemporary à la carte menu. With our kitchen closing at 8pm each night, you'll enjoy the hospitality industry perks without the late-night finishes.  Whether you're a qualified Chef or an experienced Cook looking for flexible work, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

Working alongside our Head Chef and kitchen team, you'll help deliver consistently high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences for our guests. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Prepare, cook and present menu items to a high standard across breakfast, lunch and dinner service
• Ensure food is prepared and plated consistently in line with recipes, presentation standards and service expectations
• Assist with daily food preparation and service in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
• Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures at all times
• Contribute to stock rotation, storage and minimisation of food waste
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Support the delivery of seasonal menus and daily specials

What you'll bring

• Previous experience as a Cook or Chef in a busy commercial kitchen, café, restaurant, bistro or hospitality venue
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
• A genuine passion for food, quality and presentation
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, positive attitude with a willingness to jump in where needed
• Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Relevant commercial cookery qualifications
• Confidence working across multiple sections during service
