Introducing Turtle Sands Nature Resort

We’re excited to share the launch of NRMA Parks and Resorts new Turtle Sands Nature Resort at Mon Repos, Queensland, with bookings now live for the first guest stays this September.

Turtle Sands is our new nature resort, nestled behind the dunes of the globally significant Mon Repos turtle nesting beach near Bundaberg. It’s the only place on Australia’s mainland where you can stay in a villa, glamp or camp metres from one of nature's most incredible experiences. With easy access to tours to see turtles nest and hatch from November to March, as well as a host of other sea and nature experiences year-round, guests will find an adventure in every season.

We are proud to collaborate with key stakeholders in this significant tourism project to ensure the sustainable protection of the site and its turtles, and the recognition of the First Nations connections to the site and region.

Stay tuned for updates as we gear up for the opening this spring, just in time for turtle nesting season.
