SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Regional Fleet Controller to join us based at Melbourne Airport.
Reporting to the National Fleet Asset Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum availability of vehicle assets in your dedicated region. This will involve exerting optimal expense control and careful management of both internal and external stakeholders. This role includes a responsibility of the safety and quality of SIXT vehicles, ensuring that our product satisfies the needs of our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Fleet allocation and franchise coordination; plan, communicate and manage allocation of fleet and business unit movements to ensure flow with customer demand
- Coordination of fleet repair, warranty and maintenance; coordinate and manage the upkeep of fleet in collaboration with operations team members. Ensuring that all data is recorded within the COBRA system as well as for internal reporting
- Fleet deliverables and disposals; manage the onboarding and offboarding of fleet in accordance with customer demand
- Fleet information systems and data proficiency; manage availability of fleet through data trends and monthly reviews
- Operational support; support our operational team by providing advice, fleet knowledge and input on projects/trials
- Ensure communication and collaboration with operational team members when implementing changes and strategic objectives
- Data skills and IT proficiency with willingness to expand capability
- Confidence in decision making that supports key fleet strategic objectives
- Adaptive work ethic and the ability to work with change
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and influencing skills
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
- High levels of attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full Drivers Licence
Travel is required for this role, on occasion.
