Night Duty Officer: NRMA Blue Dolphin

Blue Dolphin Yamba Holiday Resort is an ideal destination for family holidays!  You’ll find us perched on 300 metres of absolute waterfront on the lovely Clarence River. Our family-friendly facilities include a pool with waterslides, waterpark, safari-themed mini golf course, air cushion, climbing wall, pump track and games room.

What you will do
Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will provide the team with assistance in maintaining the grounds, facilities and security of the property into the evening.  You will be available to work 4 evenings per week, within the hours of approximately 3pm - 9pm.

Duties to include:

• Provide general grounds and maintenance tasks where required.
• Implement and ensure emergency maintenance repairs are attended to
• Attend to and check all amenities and public areas including BBQs
• Ensure pool areas are locked, clean and cleaning procedures completed
• Security rounds completed
• Assist with any late arrivals, guest services, or walk in's
• Monitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees

What you will bring:

You will have a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of a team, who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

• Previous experience operating equipment and machinery related to grounds.
• Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host resort guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds.
• Proven ability to multitask.
• An understanding of the operation of Pool maintenance and Pool safety would be highly regraded, but not essential
