What you will do:

Our very own on cafe, is located onsite at the Blue Dolphin Resort, for resort guests, breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The hours available will be variable across service, from 15 and up to 38 hours per week as needed across the holiday and summer season.

• Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking and presenting of dishes according to Resort guidelines and customer preferences
• Liaise with kitchen staff, food service/bar staff and Head Chef regarding customers order and general service of kitchen operations
• Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implements
• Daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries and recording assessment where necessary
• Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning

What you will bring:

• Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or club kitchen
• A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
• Possess highly effective verbal communication skills
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Happy to work as part of a team and chip in to get to get the job done right!
